When a customer wants to books your service they pay a partial payment upfront to ProjectStack, covering the sellers commission owed to us. This initial commitment from customers signifies their serious intent, setting the stage for a successful collaboration! You keep full control & collect the remaining balance (service price minus partial payment) directly from customers according to your terms.
The partial payment from your customers depends on the commission percentage fee associated with the category of your listing. You can find this information on the Expert fee page.
2. You focus on your craft and we’ll take care of the details
Once a booking is confirmed, we’ll send you the customers contact details. All you need to do is just turn up for the job and focus on what you do best – delivering an exceptional service!

Will I have to compete with too many other tradesmen on ProjectStack? I’m worried I’ll have to lower my prices to get jobs, which isn’t good for my business.

This helps maintain a level playing field for all vendors and ensures customers aren’t getting low-quality work just because of undercut pricing.
Additionally, our focus on quality means that experts who consistently meet or exceed expectations will continue to thrive on the platform. If a expert isn’t meeting standards or receives too many complaints, we remove them and offer the opportunity to experts from our waiting list who meet our high-quality standards.
